The mill consists of three stocks, called floors.
The first floor is the meal floor (A), the meal is collected here.
Above that lies the stone floor (B), where the corn is grinded to meal between the millstones.
Above the stone floor lies the dust floor (C).
The sack hoist can be found on the dust floor.
The top floor is the cap (D).
The transmission for the millstones goes like this: the shaft (2) is located in the cap as are the brake wheel (1) and the "bonkelaar" (3). Connected to the upright king shaft is the sack hoist (4) and the great spur wheel (5). The millstones are driven by the quant.
