Different types of corn

Wheat
There are a number of different wheat types that taste well. These are normally used for bread and bakery.

Rye
It used to be 'weeds' that appeared in barley and wheat and was used only later on as an individual corn type. Usually, rye meal is mixed with wheat for yeast dough.

Oat
It is useful for improving digestion, e.g. when suffering from diarrhoea. The decoction can be used against a bad cold.

Buckwheat
Is neither corn nor a grass, although it is referenced to as a grass frequently. The buckwheat corns have something in common to corn; they contain both starch and a number of precious elements.

Barley
Is a corn with long stiff needles. There are different types of Barley.
